Hi, I’m Liz Leonard, a wife, mother, business owner, consultant, and children’s book author.
I bring a blend of real-life perspective and strategic experience to my work, shaped by a career spanning film and television, professional sports, global entertainment, and over a decade in hospitality. My background includes co-founding and selling a boutique hotel, leading strategy across portfolios of 100+ hotels, producing events for Fortune 500 companies, and overseeing luxury resort operations.

I started my book publishing company, Frizzy Lizzy Books, during a time when life felt both paused and completely transformed. After having my daughter and navigating the stillness of COVID, I felt a strong pull to reconnect with my creative side. While I truly enjoyed my corporate career, I also knew I wanted an outlet to create and tell stories in a more personal way. With a background in animation and film, storytelling has always been at the heart of who I am, and this felt like the right moment to bring those ideas to life.
Growing up in a divorced and very complicated family, I understood how much kids quietly carry and process. This inspired me to create stories that feel magical and uplifting while gently touching on real-life emotions and experiences children can relate to. My goal is to continue writing stories that evolve alongside my readers. I plan to explore more complex and meaningful topics while collaborating with partners who share a passion for creating thoughtful, impactful work.
